Unfortunately we have to announce that one of Seaforth FC’s Life Members, Anne Heffernan, has sadly passed away. Anne’s contribution in the early years not long after we were formed, enabled our young club to grow into a well respected part of our community.

Anne Heffernan was involved with Seaforth Football Club from around 1970 when her oldest son Paul started in the under 5’s. Having two younger brothers Scott and Dean, Anne was soon fully involved volunteering to manage and organise multiple junior teams across a Saturday morning.

Anne’s involvement in the club continued for many years as she helped run the club and, as her boys became much older she also managed their senior teams as well as the Premier league First and Reserve grade teams for many years.

Anne’s husband Bob was also heavily involved and was also a life member of Seaforth FC.
