Our Womens Premier League team have ensured that they will be remembered as one of the greatest teams in our club’s history. To top off an amazing year, on 23rd of October they won the All Age Women’s Final of the FNSW Champion of Champions tournament in a bruising match against Coogee United. After being level at 90 minutes the match went almost to the end of the second period of extra time when we finally scored the Golden Goal for a thrilling end to the final.

This was in addition to an incredible list of other achievements in 2022 by our WPL squad when they brought home trophies for winning the MWFA Challenge Cup, the MWFA league (first division and reserve division), the MWFA knockout final (first division and reserve division) and the MWFA/NSFA Challenge Cup .. plus their individual MWFA honours for Coach of the Year, WPL Player of the Year, WPL Rookie of the Year and the WPL Golden Boot award. Astonishing!

They were without a doubt the best women’s community club team and squad in NSW and they did it all playing beautiful football.

Congratulations to the whole squad and coaching staff. We can’t tell you how proud we are of you all.
