The Seaforth FC Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 20th February 2023 at the Seaforth Oval clubhouse at 7:00pm. The meeting generally lasts one hour.  

We’ll be presenting our annual report, discussing our thoughts on the next few years and holding formal elections for our committee in 2023. There will be the opportunity for questions from members at the end of the meeting.

This meeting was originally scheduled to be held in November 2022 but has been delayed until now due to the ill health of club Secretary Al Glixman.

The terms of the following elected Management Group roles will not expire until the 2023 AGM and so those roles are not up for re-election:

President (Steve Harding)
VP, MWFA Liaison (Andrew Bustos)
VP, Development (Ant Depree)

The terms of the following elected Management Group roles will expire at the AGM and so those positions are open for election for a two-year term:

Treasurer (Paul Thompson intends to continue for 2023)
Secretary (Al Glixman has re-nominated for another 2 year term)

The terms of the following appointed Management Group roles will expire at the AGM or are currently vacant and so those positions are open for election for a two-year term:

VP Gear & Grounds (there is no known candidate at this stage)
VP Premier League (there is no known candidate at this stage)
VP Operations (there is no known candidate at this stage)
Manager Club Community (Sarah Sauer intends to continue for 2023)
Manager Sponsorship (Graham Whitehead intends to continue for 2023)

As usual, all General Committee roles are open for election for a one year term.

Anyone who wishes to nominate for any position should submit a nomination form to the club Secretary Alan Glixman (secretary@seaforthfc.com) by 5:00pm on Monday 6th February 2023.

There are no motions or changes to the club’s constitution to be put to members at the meeting.

There are no nominations for life membership to be put to members at the meeting.

A copy of the agenda for the 2022 Seaforth FC AGM will be made available prior to the meeting.

The annual report will be made available on the club’s website just prior to the meeting. The club’s 2022 financials will be distributed only at the meeting.
